I like the idea of this app and what it can do. Video contracts are perfects for small agreements. In my situation, I am a college student and this app would be useful for things like roommate agreements and honor code agreements. When viewing the app, I found it to be very easy to use and navigate. It is simple and the signature function is a nice touch. The only issue that I had was that when drawing on the screen, some things didn't show up (as shown in the image). Other than that, the only thing that I would consider adding to this app would be a text option to type what you want on the screen. It would minimize the size of the drawing and it would be easier to read. This app was great to work with and thank you for your order. I hope you are satisfied.

I think that it’s a very good idea! It’s a smart way to get agree with your partners or colleagues or suppliers. You can find an example attached:

What I appreciate most is:
- the possibility to have a unique mp4 files that joins together video and pictures and changes/notes on the picture.
-the signature functions. Very good idea but it doesn’t work on my app (please check it)

How would I use it:
- work notes related to graphic projects. Than instead of written meeting report I will send the picture by what’s app
- renovation work for suppliers
- notes for my husband related to the
- shopping list
- give directions to other people using a chat or other web supports
So I will use it even if the signature is not needed.

How to better it:
- check this signature page
- give the possibility to view the videos once finished (editor note: videos are saved to device album)
- Smarter graphics (little bit cooler)

It is a smart name for the concept and what I like most about it is its simplicity and ability to save time, paper and money. I imagined using it for project work or capturing minutes or highlights of a workshop / key takeaways. The signature component allows for hierarchical validation/ sign off. Its all done digitally, so anyone with a phone can have sign off immediately following a meeting or agreement, so it validates, clarifies and confirms a piece of work through the signature feature! I imagine for quotes for builders getting their briefs from clients and being able to capture before and after photos as a nice personal touch for the customer this app could be used. Something like courier companies with a Geolocation feature, could track and video or photograph the package being delivered. It could also be created functionality to allow a list of chores around the house that needs a handyman.

1. Content comments

• Icons are very intuitive (signature one is unique, but one gets it)
• When a video is created the confirmation message could be more informative like “Video has been saved to your Photos” (screen shot below)
• Not sure of the purpose of the focus icon in the middle of the capture screen, perhaps its just for fun.

2. CX (Client/ user experience)

• Very simple
• Probably a little too simple, aids or more meat in the sending’s section would be helpful
• The addition of audio for video is great as you can walk someone through a project and sign off on it – it could be used as Specs for Business Analysts to work from.
• A typing option for text would be helpful if you make markers to provide some text

3. Service/ product itself

• This app can be used as a visual aid and signature tool for any of the following ideas:

➢It could be used for meeting minutes if there is something captured manually onto a white board/ flipchart etc.

➢Building projects/ alteranations/ home improvements – you can send pieces of work required to freelances quick and easy explaining the work required and they can quote you remotely not having to spend some getting to you thus getting quotes faster and possibly more efficient turn around 􀆟me

➢Wire-framing in design or analysis work that is captured manually and then can be confirmed by the requester and they can sign that they happy with that phase of work

➢If you have a stand for a phone you can use this app to record user testing so user testing can be done remotely (perhaps using a tripod) and then you can get more people testing your product (not limited to apps but anything being used and requiring others to see how a client may use or make use of their product)

➢Logging government issues like potholes/ water leaks/ electricity meter readings etc.

➢Photos can be used for documentation that is sent and requires signing and sending back to someone In summary/ overall review (you are welcome to use/ quote me on): It is a smart name for the concept and what I like most about it is its simplicity and ability to save me, paper and money. Side note:

What is your Next Wise Move…(a suggestion for further benefit to the end user): Perhaps the Geolocation feature being added will be helpful data for further use. If you can create almost a business card type feature that a􀆩ached to the video so that your details (static) can be sent together with the file.

I have studied deeply all aspect of your idea and the vontract and truly say, got impressed by the idea how you are making the most difficult task easier for the both parties whether the customer or contractor.

Let me tell you how I or anyone can use this app.

By the point of customer like us.

1)    We can give all details of our work easily by app.
2)    Image points are the main indication that where to use the tools and what should be apply there of our need.
3)    We can take the idea by sharing image or premises what will be most effective job done.
4)    Multiple types of measurements through screen shots.
5)     Negotiation, deal and instructions for execution is easy.
6)    Fast job.

By the points of contractor.

1)    Create contracts fast and sharp using smart device.
2)    Renovation, service, and maintenance are done effective and easy.
3)    Time and cost saving app for lengthy works like contract basis.
4)    All controls advance features.

Summary: - Technology made contract work easy and wonderful. Need work done. Make a video, deal, got maintenance, services, execute, request, assign, instruct, commands and work done. Wow so simple and beyond the thought.

Personally, I don’t do blue collar work, but I can definitely see myself using this in the future. Since I many people are busy, I love the idea of recording a video / taking a photo and using a target or marker to describe what needs to be done or where the problem is. Overall it’s a very smart concept. I am excited to see why potential this has!

Initial thoughts:

Biggest turn off right now is having to buy the app., it can definitely deter customers. And for me personally, if I am going to invest in an app with very little reviews, you must gotta really sell to me. Because I never download an app if I have to purchase it. Although the price isn’t bad, I would suggest a subscription service. Or maybe run ads on your app to help it get going. People like low risk, if you can show them the low risk, and add let them try the app with a free trial I think you will definitely fish in more customers.
Another thing I would like to add is have you tried pitching this idea to your target market? Have you came in personally to construction companies or your other target markets and pitched your app to them? You can get some experienced feed back and that can really help your business grow. And once it grows, you can offer corporate packages. Because at the end of the day, corporate doesn’t care about price, they want efficiency and they want to maximize their potential.
My initial thoughts when I first saw the app was, I like the idea, and the technology is expanding. Paper contracts may soon be replaced by this, however my biggest issue is with hackers. When you make contracts, this is a great way for hackers to manipulate the information. Is your app secure enough to have security against hackers? Although I know paper and pen are in the past, I personally like my contract on paper and pen since I can make copies. But video is a great idea too. However, remember that video may not always tell the whole story. My instance would be with police cams. They aren’t activated at the beginning of the situation all of the time. So people can throw in their inputs. However, since this is a contract, I am sure before the agreement is started, their app must be on.

Pros I like about the app.

I like the target feature. That is very unique. Signature is a great idea! I like that I can sign and send.
I think this would be best for business use. The camera to take a picture of the face is nice when you put your signature, but I think having a professional profile replace that helps as well. I would suggest a clock in and clock out suggestion. That way, if a plumber or maintenance person wants to enter your house when not home, you can keep track for records. I would suggest having a library to review contracts, but make sure the video can’t be edited.

Problems experienced/suggestion for app

Camera glitched and had to close out. Eraser shouldn’t delete the whole thing. Eraser mode should let the user use his/her finger to erase.
I would definitely label camera and video camera. Make sure that camera and video camera are separate. I feel like single tapping the video camera mode makes the app confusing. I would like to see a “library” in the app so I can rewatch my video. (editor note: saved videos are stored in device video album named: Vontract.)

Question for the app.

How long does this video contract last? Knowing that people can sue many years later, can the server hold multiple videos for many years to come?
Would it be possible to set up payment through the app? Could you pay the contractor through the app?
If I have a question for the contractor, would I be able to call them and see live footage? Kind of like the Ring Doorbell?

Overall experience after using the app.

Over all, I think this is a very neat app that has some serious potential if executed right. I love the target idea for the camera. That is a very unique feature that helps me point out things without having to use my finger. Another great feature I love about the app is that I can take a picture of my face and sign my signature right after. The marker mode that is given reminds me of Snapchat. I love how I can draw on the app. That way I can take pictures and draw on the app if I need to (I.E I want my contractor to fix certain light bulbs only. I could use the marker to mark which light bulbs I want replaced). Overall this is a great app, I think if you fixed some minor issues, and pitched this to a company it has some huge potential. I can also see this being using in the medical field as well. Since I am planning to go into the medical field, doctors can send prescriptions to pharmacists on their cell phone. There is no need to go to clinic and send it through the computer. A physician can have their verified ID and sign it on a phone. Telemedicine is growing and I think this has a great niche.

Vontract is a fantastic app that takes away the pain of creating manual contracts for small tasks. It’s as easy as point, shoot, edit and share. We see a lot of potential in this app and wish the team all the very best!

The whole concept of Vontract is amazing and the final product is just as amazing. However, there are some issues with it. One issue I had with the app was the colours of the buttons, they are white and have a white border as well. The white buttons easily disappear into light, for example I pointed the camera out into my window (the window was somewhat bright) and the settings button sort of disappeared, the button itself was obviously there but it was just not visible due to the light. The camera app in IOS devices solves this issue by having a black background behind the buttons, Instagram however takes a different approach and makes the screen dimmer whenever there is a bright light, and Instagram also has a black border to their buttons. I do not design apps myself so I don’t know how difficult it would be to make it so the screen gets dimmer every time there is a bright light, if it is difficult I definitely think you should use add a black background behind the buttons. Whichever way you pick you should definitely add a black border to all the buttons.

Another issue with the app is how it takes screenshots instead of actually using the camera. I know you probably expected this but this is a pretty big deal. The pictures the app takes always have a green border and more importantly still have the overlay from when you took the picture. This makes the pictures look somewhat unprofessional. The pictures are also not hd which is not that big of a deal but the app would really be better if the pictures would turn out hd. The videos also have that crosshair in them which I think should be removed when you get the final product. The videos are also not hd. The signature part also has an outline for a face which stays in the final product, the final product also has the whole picture instead of just the outlined part which makes the outline useless, I think you should remove the outline. The final product also always has the “video created using vontract.app on…” which I think should be removed if possible.

I would probably use this app to make sure I capture personal promises more than legal ones. I think the option to add a title to the videos would be nice, the title would show up first thing in the video and the title should also be the thumbnail of the video. This way you would easily be able to find the specific promise instead of having to watch a bunch of other ones to find the one you are looking for. Overall, the app is great and well worth the money if you are looking for an app that lets you capture promises.
